Celles qui luttent Sarah Baril Gaudet

Celles qui luttent

Furious and merciless in the ring, female wrestlers Azaelle, Loue O’Farrell, and LuFisto engage in spectacular and fierce battles every weekend. But away from the hyped-up crowds in front of whom they perform, in the intimacy of their own homes, these three women open up with sensitivity. They speak about their daily struggles and concerns, like becoming a mother, providing for their families, and carving out their place in the male-dominated world of professional wrestling. Sarah Baril Gaudet’s film is a touching, empathetic portrait that shines a light on these women’s perseverance and creativity—as well as the strong friendship that unites them, despite their show of fierce opposition in the ring. The November 17th screening will be followed by the event Women's Wrestling Event - Launch of Celles qui luttent.
