McCord Stewart Museum
Take a trip back in time via Becoming Montreal: The 1800s Painted by Duncan at the McCord Stewart Museum. Chronicler of his time, artist James Duncan documented Montreal’s development from 1830 to 1880. His works offer viewers a unique journey into Montreal before photography.
The exhibition will take place from June 2, 2023 to April 21, 2024.

CINÉMATHÈQUE QUÉBÉCOISE
The Cinémathèque québécoise is Montreal’s museum of moving images. Its mission is to acquire, document and preserve the world’s audiovisual heritage, with an emphasis on Quebec and Canadian works as well as international animation, and to make it available for cultural and educational purposes.

Cinéma Public offers a regular programming in its theatre at Casa d'Italia, summer outdoor screenings at Livart, online films, as well as cultural mediation activities. The team is also working on the opening of a new cinema, which will soon enhance the big-screen offering in Montreal.

Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
