This visually rich film with a dense sound design is a compelling tribute to Indigenous poet Diane Burns. This work explores visual textures and archival footage from a poetry reading interspersed with glimmering light, poetry, and scenes from a powwow, which melt into abstraction through digital effects. Through this sequence of elements, an inspired meditation emerges on death and reincarnation. (HSB)
