Sky Hopinka: Redefining potential territories

Dislocation Blues Sky Hopinka

Alongside shots of the camp at Standing Rock and the protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline, Cleo Keahna and Terry Running Wild share their perspectives on this historic resistance movement. Giving space to the plurality of lived experiences, this assemblage of sound and visual is consciously fragmentary, raising important questions about the nature of memory. (HSB)

This film is presented as part of the retrospective Sky Hopinka : Redefining Potential Territories.
