Caiti Blues Justine Harbonnier

Caiti Blues

On the cusp of her thirties, Caiti Lord earns a living as a bartender in a small American town, whose hippie vibes are at odds with the arid New Mexico landscape. With her rare sensibility and unrivalled sense of humour, she spills her heart out to the listeners of the local radio show she hosts. Once a prodigal child with an outstanding musical talent, Caiti is following her dream of returning to the stage where she belongs. Between introspection, melancholy, joy, and dreams for the future, this film is a tender portrait of a young woman with an off-the-wall personality. Like many others of her generation, she carries the burden of success while society around her seems to fail miserably. (AAM)
