Using the medium of film, how can we reconstruct the image of a country we left behind, but that still forms part of our identity? This conversation brings together two filmmakers hailing from diaspora communities: Rosine Mbakam (Cameroonian director of Mambar Pierrette) and Khoa Lê (Québécois-Vietnamese director of Má Sài Gòn), to reflect on the representation of their respective countries of origin.
