Case Study: Telling Our Story

In this documentary series, the eleven First Peoples whose homelands now host Quebec and beyond – Abenaki, Anishinaabe, Atikamekw, Eeyou (Cree), Innu, Inuit, Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk), Mi'kmaq, Naskapi, Wendat and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) – tell us,in their own way and from their unique perspective, who they are: their worldviews, values and ways of life, spiritualities, myths and legends, wounds, and hopes.

The series team takes us behind the scenes, the process and protocols of this important production that contributes to decolonizing history.
