Montreal, Friday, November 3, 2023 – The Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) is proud to premiere films from local filmmakers whose reputation is firmly established, while also showcasing new talents.
Among emerging filmmakers, Chadi Bennani’s short film Here and There will have its world premiere during the opening night of the 26th edition of the RIDM, on Wednesday, November 15, at Cinéma Impérial. As for the Quebec feature Novembre by directors Iphigénie Marcoux-Fortier & Karine van Ameringen, it will have its North American premiere as part of the closing night of the festival, on Saturday, November 25, at Cinéma du Musée.
This year, the first Quebec festival entirely devoted to documentary cinema will present 52 national films in its various sections.

This is a unique opportunity to discover or revisit these memorable films, now available for free, province-wide, until November 26.
The 26th edition of the RIDM will take place from November 15 to 26
at the Cinémathèque québécoise, Cinéma du Parc, Cinéma du Musée,
Cineplex Odeon Quartier Latin, Cinéma Moderne, and Cinéma Impérial.
