FORUM RIDM 2020: AN INNOVATIVE AND CONNECTED FORMAT
The RIDM Forum, to be held from the 12th to 19th of November 2020, is pleased to offer a new dynamic online format, while keeping the possibility of physical meetings for the local industry, depending on the current sanitary measures.
With a renewed focus on creating business opportunities, professional development and inclusion in the community, the RIDM Forum will offer its most important activities, including the Talent Lab presented by Netflix, the One-on-One pitches, the Plural Cinemas workshops and exclusive meetings with local decision-makers and experts.
The complete program for the 16th edition of the RIDM will be unveiled on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
A NEW VISUAL IDENTITY
The RIDM Forum is committed to providing a space for exchange, discussion, business opportunities and professional development. For this 16th edition, the RIDM Forum is unveiling its new, reinvented identity.
Using elements from the visual campaign designed by Caserne for the 23rd edition of the RIDM, the festival's graphic designer, Juliette Moal, has developed a poster that symbolizes the meeting. The poster features illustrated characters, like that of the RIDM, but here, with only the hands: those of industry representatives, producers and directors; all those who make up the dynamic ecosystem of our sector.

CUBAN HAT POSTPONED TO 2021
For the past nine years, the Makila and RIDM teams have worked together to present the Cuban Hat pitch, a festive event at the RIDM festival every November. With the pandemic, both the RIDM festival and the Forum had to make the difficult decision to switch all programming to digital format. In this context, we have decided not to offer the Cuban Hat pitch this year.
