To better understand the motivations behind images in the editing room, this masterclass with editor-director Qutaiba Barhamji will explore how to structure and shape a film project when human, ethical, and political considerations take precedence over the cinematic concept. Qutaiba edited the films Still Recording; Douma Underground; and Little Palestine, Diary of a Siege, presented as part of the RIDM’s Focus Bidayyat.
