An open mic hosted by Charlie Morin will follow the world premiere of the feature-length documentary Éviction, which explores the importance of shared spaces for the queer community. Expect performances and talks centered around the ongoing housing crisis in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke. The evening will also celebrate the film’s completion, with DJs at the ready to supply a steady stream of highly danceable tunes!
With the participation of Faiz Abhuani (Brique par brique), Parc-Ex Anti-Eviction, Hoodstock, SLAM (Syndicat des locataires autonomes de Montréal), FLIP (Front de lutte pour un immobilier populaire), Julie Podmore, Claude Périard, Charly Mullot, Désirée Nore and Chacha Enriquez ; with DJs field note et dijipoune.
